Our Clients & Projects
We have helped companies like yours
with their communication challenges. Our experience with a wide range
of media, industries, and audiences provides you with a number of paths
to reach your prospects and customers.
For the Outdoor Life Network
we described Pro Bull Riding in a few words: "2,000 pounds of raw
energy. No steering. No brakes." PanAmSat asked us to make their
marketing material more customer-friendly. Advantage Homes asked us to
help transform their brochure website into a marketing vehicle that supports
their direct mail efforts, then help set up an ongoing internet marketing
effort.
We have provided a selected
list of clients and projects.

Selected Projects
Here are selected examples of projects completed:
Brochure:
PanAmSat

Client: PanAmSat
Task: Rewrite
brochure copy to market PanAmSat's broadcast service offerings at the
2004 Summer Olympic Games. This task was complicated by the fact that
PanAmSat was not a sponsor of the Olympics and was prohibited from using
trademarked terminology such as the word Olympics.
Results: Brochure
conveys the excitement of the 2004 Summer Games by using non-trademarked
terminology synonymous with the Olympics. PanAmSat is presented as the
torchbearer for broadcasters because it provides the services that they
need to get summer game programming and breaking news to their customers.

Articles

Client: Weathernews, Inc.
Task: Write three articles monthly for an online newsletter that targets mobile content prospects.
Results: Researched weather-related news reported by the mainstream media. Provide a synopsis of the news and analysis of the media coverage for each article. Also, rate each weather topic as either hot, mild, or cool, depending upon public interest, and provide support for the rating.
Sample: Scroll down to three articles labeled hot, mild, and cool.
Technical Documentation

Client: SanDisk
Task: Write a user guide and create a page design for their new eSansa MP3 player.
Results: Researched peer and competitor documentation to develop the table of contents and page design. Created a page design using Microsoft Word. The design proved popular enough that SanDisk Marketing group used it for other documentation. Used the new product to document how to use the functionality and avoid common mistakes (to help reduce support calls).

Email Marketing Campaign: Open House
Client: Advantage

Task: Work
with their staff to create, send, and measure results for an email marketing
campaign that advertised seven new homes they offer. Help build a landing
website to support the email campaign. Wrote email and website copy.
Results: Worked
with staff to develop email layout then designed and coded the email.
Worked with staff who built the landing website. Arranged for an email
service provider then managed list creation and delivery. Sent two emails
as an A/B split to test subject lines. Emails sent to 1122 people who
had provided their email addresses through the company website. Both emails
generated a combined unique open rate of 42%, unique click-throughs of
24%; total opens were 72% (from multiple opens) and total click-throughs
were 56% from readers (from multiple click-throughs).
